In contrast to the MS degree programs, which are program-specific and more specialized, the MPH degree bridges the scientific and health policy worlds. It provides a broader department-wide perspective on general principles of environmental and occupational health, with emphasis on applications and policy implications.

This degree option requires 120 hours of practicum to provide real-world experience. This degree offers a choice between completing a thesis or a program project.
