All Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental Helath (CEEH) investigators are organized into Collaborative Research Teams (CRTs) around thematic, environmental disease-focused topics. Many of our investigators work across two or more of these, but still identify primarily with their designated CRT. See the CEEH Member Directory for details on CRT affiliation.

The CRTs include:

  1. Environment and Cancer
  2. Developmental and Reproductive Disorders
  3. Neurodegenerative Diseases
  4. Cardiopulmonary Disease and Metabolic Syndrome
  5. Hepatic, Renal and Gastrointestinal Diseases

The goals of the CRTs are to:

  1. Foster innovative research collaborations among and between CEEH investigators that emphasize the role of environmental factors and encourage partnerships that stimulate translational and clinical research related to Environmental Health Sciences (EHS)
  2. Promote the development of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) relevant interdisciplinary research grants and, where appropriate, interdisciplinary training grants relevant to the CRT
  3. Encourage the use of new technologies available through the CEEH Facility Cores
  4. Promote the career development of junior faculty within each CRT
