Walt Rostykus, MSPH

Walt Rostykus, Vice President and Ergonomics Engineer for Humantech, has over 30 years of experience delivering and managing ergonomic, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs. He has provided technical services, established management programs, and conducted process and compliance reviews of ergonomics programs and health and safety programs in a wide variety of industries.

Prior to joining Humantech, Walt established and managed environmental health and safety programs for manufacturing and service operations at Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computers, and Agilent Technologies. In addition, he was the Ergonomics Program Manager for Hewlett-Packard, guiding process implementation across the organization.

Walt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University. He earned his Master of Science degree in Public Health, with a focus on Industrial Hygiene and Safety/Environmental Health and Sanitation, from the University of Washington.

Walt is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist, a Certified Safety Professional, a Certified Industrial Hygienist, and has served as an Environmental Management System Lead Auditor. He is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Semiconductor Environmental Safety & Health Association, and the International Commission on Occupational Health.
