The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) at California State University, Northridge is seeking applicants for a full-time tenured-track Assistant Professor position.Skills/Eligibility:
Doctoral degree in Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) or a closely related field is required from an accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered, but doctorate must be completed by August 22, 2018. Candidate must demonstrate commitment and ability to effectively teach, mentor and work with a diverse student population. Professional experience and/or publications in an Environmental and Occupational Health discipline is desirable. Example areas include administration, air quality, food safety, industrial hygiene, microbiology, hazardous waste management, EOH program management, research design, risk analysis, toxicology, vector control, and water quality. REHS (Registered Environmental Health Specialist) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) credentials are desirable. Evidence of on-going research activity and potential to secure external funding to support research and publication is desired. Experience in student advisement is desirable. Experience with on-line teaching and instructional technology is highly desirable. Ability to develop and offer on-line courses or to utilize other instructional technologies is highly desirable.
At time of appointment, the successful candidate, if not a U.S. citizen, must have authorization from the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services to work in the United States.How to Apply:
