Transfer Student Information

Transfer students must also apply for general admission to the University and abide by the UW Office of Admissions’ deadlines. Please consult the transfer admission website for more information about applying to the UW and plan to attend the weekly Transfer Thursday program. Washington State Community College students should use the online equivalency guide to help plan for transfer.  Transfer students may apply to the major at the same time they are applying to the UW. For example, a transfer student planning to transfer in winter 2017 would apply to the UW by September 1st, 2016 and to the major by the third Friday of autum quarter, October 4th, 2016).

All transfer students are encouraged to talk with a UW Environmental Health adviser before applying. To schedule an appointment either in person or over the phone, see the  Contact an Adviser page.
