Continuing Education for Community Members

Parents, teachers, and other community members can benefit from pediatric environmental health training because they play a vital role in creating and supporting safe and healthy environments for children. 

Healthy Homes Training 

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development launched the Healthy Homes Initiative in 1999 to address children's environmental health concerns. A partnership between the University of Washington Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, Building Performance Center, and Community Services Consortium hosts a series of regularly scheduled Healthy Homes trainings in-person and online.
