Mr. Salazar recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Applied Physics. He just finished his term as a CoMotion Mary Gates Innovation Scholar working with Kit Galvin on a mobile application Etiquetas bilingües de pesticidas / Bilingual Pesticide Safety Project to increase awareness and provide bilingual information of health and safety information for pesticide handlers working in the agriculture industry. In the pas,t he worked with Dr. Jason Yip designing social media technologies to support neighborhoods learning science together via large-scale applications and he was also published at the ACM SIGCHI conference this past year.
Mr. Salazar is in interested in bridging communication between communities by developing user-interface systems to provide easy to use learning application whether it be in an educational setting or working with the agricultural industry. Helping the community is his goal and looking forward he hopes to provide more applications for people to use.
His hobbies include being outdoors with his friends and family and spending time on his motorcycle in the Great State of Washington.
