Stampfer recently completed her MPH in Environmental Health at the University of Washington. Her thesis work focused on community-engaged research on air quality in the lower Yakima Valley and the use of low-cost air sensors. 

Stampfer is starting her PhD in Environmental and Occupational Hygiene in the fall of 2018, and plans to continue community-engaged air research. Stampfer’s research experiences include environmental education, wildfire and wood smoke health messaging, and safe siting for childcare facilities.
