Dr. Rabinowitz lectures on One Health at Texas A&M University

This week Dr. Rabinowitz, COHR Director, traveled to Texas A and M in College Station, Texas, to lecture on "One Health: What Human Health Professionals Can Contribute". Texas A and M has a One Health program that has been in existence for several years and that includes active collaboration between multiple colleges including Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, and Humanities. Dr. Rabinowitz is shown with the TAMU One Health Director Dr. Mike Chaddock as well as One Health administrator Audra Willet, Student Katelyn Kuhl,  and Merredith Holub, One Health Program Coordinator.

In addition to having a One Health course for undergraduates, One Health summer courses, and a proposed One Health certificate program that will be used for medical as well as veterinary students, Texas A and M has partnered with UCDavis on a interdisciplinary clinical rotation in Nicaragua where students evaluate both humans and animals in need of primary care, often related to hazardous exposures in the environment.
