Directions to the Garage for Drop-Off/Pick-Up or Parking

Garage Entrance: Off of 9th Avenue
Clearance: 12’ clearance is required to enter the garage

The garage is only accessible via 9th Ave. Given that both Roosevelt Way NE and 9th Ave are alternating one-way streets, drive south on Roosevelt Way NE towards 4225 Roosevelt. Continue past it, and turn right onto 42nd St. Make another right onto northbound 9th Ave. There is a sign on 9th Ave on the right-hand side near the garage gate that says "4225 Roosevelt". Turn in here. Once you turn into the parking garage, turn left (do not go to the loading dock), and go ~100 ft up a slight incline to the area where you see tanks and cages to your right.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Process

1. Please contact us at ehlab@uw.edu to make a drop-off/pick-up appointment

2. When you arrive, please page us

You can use your personal cell phone to page us: 206.221.9057 (no texts) or use the phone mounted on the wall to the right of the SCBA cylinder cage. This phone automatically dials the pager number.

3. We will come down to meet you to accept or return your cylinders

Parking

As long as you have an appointment with the EH Lab and are just dropping off/picking up air samples, no parking is necessary; we'll come down to meet you while you wait.

If you are visiting the labs for a different purpose, we can get you a temporary parking pass for the garage. Park in any available spot and your EHL contact will help you with this once you arrive.
