Findings on family environment and neurodevelopment outcomes in children published in Frontiers in Psychiatry

ECHO PATHWAYS mPI Dr. Nicole Bush was first author and mPI Dr. Kaja LeWinn was co-author in the article "Family Environment, Neurodevelopmental Risk, and the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Initiative: Looking Back and Moving Forward” published by the journal Frontiers in Psychiatry. This paper examines several domains of the family environment, and discusses how they affect neurodevelopment, particularly on mental health outcomes. The paper also discusses the role that ECHO will play in advancing this area of study and highlights how ECHO will contribute to understanding the relationship between the family environmental and children’s mental health.
