Come join the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) in its mission to assure the protection of workers and prevent work related injuries, illnesses and deaths. The OSHA Headquarters in Washington, DC offers internship opportunities year-round for motivated students with varying interests and backgrounds in the areas of health, safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, health policy, communications and emergency planning and preparedness. For this summer, we are seeking student's from colleges and universities nationwide to perform related projects and assignments such as developing outreach, training and educational materials for workers and employers; conducting research on workplace hazards; data analysis; policy development; and participating in meetings with OSHA's partnering agencies and organizations such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Both graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply.
