Technical assistance can look like a lot of different things. Broadly, our center works to support community-based organizations and Tribes to help build their capacity to address environmental and energy justice issues in their communities and access funding to support that work.

We offer many types of technical assistance. If you have a need that you don’t see listed, feel free to reach out. Even if our center is not the right fit, we will try to connect you with another technical assistance provider who can help.

We can help at any stage of your project.

Here are some examples:

  • Planning support
Strategic planning, action planning, community visioning and prioritization.
  • Project development
Articulating needs and priorities, storytelling, designing logic models and communications.
  • Collaboration support
Identifying technical partners, planning and facilitating partnerships.
  • Literature review and data synthesis
Developing fact sheets, data analytics, geospatial mapping, story maps, dashboards and literature summaries.
  • Funding and Proposal Development
Identifying funding sources, reviewing proposals, grant-writing templates and resources.
  • Administrative and finance support
Project management, administrative analysis, operating system analysis, post-award management and reporting.

At any point in the process we can help with:

Facilitation: Planning workshops, designing agendas and facilitating meetings.

Content expertise such as: Air quality, water quality, clean energy assessment, maternal and child environmental health, climate resilience and disaster response.
