WAWHI - Washington Animal Worker Health Initiative Study

The Washington Animal Worker Health Initiative  (WAWHI) Study is a pilot research study that aims to reduce the rate of animal related and needlestick/sharps injuries among animal workers including groomers, shelter workers, and kennel staff in Washington state. Such injuries place these workers as well as their close contacts at risk of zoonotic diseases.
