Services

Most of our services are administered by medical experts at the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic—located at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center—who specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases caused or aggravated by workplace and community environmental exposures.

Common conditions we evaluate include breathing problems, neurological problems, skin problems, musculoskeletal problems and exposures to toxic chemicals such as metals, solvents and pesticides. We also offer medical screening and monitoring, regulatory compliance examinations and impairment ratings.

We partner closely with the Center of Occupational Health & Education (COHE), a program through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries that seeks to minimize work-related disability by offering education and training in best occupational health practices to physicians who treat workers with work-related injuries.

We serve as advocates to reduce occupational and environmental risk for patients, labor, management and community groups.
