The CEEH is proud to recognize investigator Ulrike “Riki” Peters as a 2008 recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. This prestigious award honors the most promising young researchers in the United States whose early accomplishments show the greatest promise for strengthening America’s leadership in science. Dr. Peters was nominated through the National Institutes of Health for her work in understanding how the interplay of genetics and nutrition can impact cancer risk. The Center is delighted to continue to support Dr. Peters’ research and enthusiastic about the contributions she will continue to make to the fields of ecogenetics and public health.
