December 3, 2009 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Bhopal disaster in which a Union Carbide plant in India released a large amount of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas and other toxins, resulting in the exposure of over 500,000 people making it one of the largest and deadliest industrial accidents in history.
