About

Dr. Crocker is an assistant professor in the UW Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and an adjunct assistant professor in DEOHS. She is a physician scientist with expertise in the effects of environmental exposures, particularly wildfire smoke and other types of air pollution, on child respiratory health. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonary medicine and holds a master's in public health from the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Crocker's passion is developing practical, equitable, and effective solutions to reduce child exposure to air pollution through community-engaged research and implementation science. Recent areas of study have included community health worker programs for asthma, the use of videoconferencing in asthma programs, and developing tools to help parents of kids with asthma deal with wildfire smoke. Her research uses qualitative, survey, and mixed-methods approaches. She also treats children with respiratory disease at Seattle Children's Hospital.
