Degree requirements
A 90-credit dissertation-based degree program for students who want advanced training in academic research. Students pursue independent research with mentorship by a faculty adviser in disciplines including environmental public health, toxicology, occupational health, climate change and more. Most students complete the degree in 5 to 6 years. This degree requires 34 credits in core coursework, 28 related to your dissertation, 6 research credits and 19 additional elective credits.
