Thomas Lewandowski

Dr. TOM LEWANDOWSKI is a principal scientist at Gradient in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Lewandowski has over 20 years of experience in the areas of product safety evaluation, metals toxicology, and developmental toxicology. He is currently involved in leading Gradient's efforts in the emerging area of Green Chemistry. Tom is also an adjunct associate professor at Brooklyn College/The City University of New York where he teaches environmental science, environmental health, and physiology. He is a member of the OARS WEEL committee which develops workplace exposure guidelines for chemical and physical agents. He is board certified in toxicology in the US and in Europe. He is currently chair of the Society of Toxicology's Education Committee, leading the Society's efforts to improve the public's knowledge of toxicology and risk assessment.
